Touba MP and mayor Moussa Sanogo has mobilised 15 million CFA francs to support 74 young people, 46 of whom will receive funds for their activities and 28 support for their driving licences. The initiative was presented at a ceremony on 31 October, according to the Ivorian Press Agency.

Touba MP and mayor Moussa Sanogo has mobilised 15 million CFA francs to support the professional integration of 74 young people in the municipality. The assistance, handed over on Saturday 31 October at the town hall esplanade, combines funding for income-generating activities and support for driving licences, according to the Ivorian Press Agency (AIP).

Forty-six beneficiaries received a total of 11.5 million CFA francs to start or strengthen their activities. Another 28 young people received support for their driving licences, each costing 125,000 CFA francs, representing a total allocation of 3.5 million CFA francs. Moussa Sanogo called on the beneficiaries to act responsibly in their projects, while two representatives, Bereté Allassane and Bakayoko Kassindou, welcomed the support intended to facilitate their integration. The scheme is subsequently expected to be extended to young people in the municipality’s villages, according to AIP.
