Moroccan pharmaceutical group Laprophan, led by Farid Bennis, has set the subscription price for its shares at 341 dirhams for its listing on the Casablanca Stock Exchange, according to LesEco.ma. The transaction, which could reach a maximum of 2.22 billion dirhams, received approval from the Moroccan Capital Markets Authority on 28 October.

The subscription period is scheduled to run from 9 to 17 November 2026. The offer combines a capital increase of nearly 1.4 billion dirhams through the issuance of 4,105,500 new shares with the sale of 2,412,200 shares held by MC IV Pharma and MC IV Morocco, for a maximum of 822.56 million dirhams. Once completed, the public will hold 37.64% of the capital and voting rights.

Founded in 1949, Laprophan operates in more than 50 countries and holds more than 1,300 marketing authorisations. The group acquired 60% of Switzerland’s Rivopharm in February 2026, after taking control of Amanys Pharma and Botanic Pharma in 2024. It also signed an agreement in October to acquire Corporate Investment Holding, the parent company of Polymedic; completion is subject to approval by the Competition Council.

The price and timetable specify the details of the transaction announced previously. Laprophan had said it was targeting up to 2.2 billion dirhams in its planned stock market listing, then set out how the proceeds would be allocated to external growth in a previous report on the transaction.
