An allocation of 210 million CDF is to enable the finalisation of pay for public administration officials and executives in Kinshasa, including arrears from December 2025 and February to April 2026. The regularisation operation will begin on 9 November at two sites, according to the public administration inter-union body.

DR Congo will release 210 million Congolese francs to regularise unpaid salaries for public administration executives and staff in Kinshasa. Payment is due to begin on Monday 9 November 2026 at the Wangata and 1st Street Limete TP sites, according to a statement from the Kinshasa public administration inter-union body cited by Le Potentiel.

The funds are to cover outstanding payments from December 2025 as well as those for February, March and April 2026 for staff who did not receive their full remuneration. The beneficiaries concerned work notably in urban divisions, financial agencies and political offices, the inter-union body said.

The operation comes after the launch, on 6 November, of public service salary reform in DR Congo. It notably targets salary arrears corresponding to the periods covered by the regularisation, according to the inter-union body.
