Cape Verdean singer Mister Page explains that « Quem é Você », popular again on digital platforms, was inspired by a woman refusing to dance with him at a nightclub. He later contacted Dico Mendes to prepare the song’s recording, in an interview with Rádio Somos Todos Primos.

The São Toméan singer Mister Page explained that his song « Quem é Você », released more than 10 years ago and recently popular again on digital platforms, was inspired by a woman’s refusal to dance with him at a party. He recounted the episode to Rádio Somos Todos Primos (RSTP).

After the refusal, Page Guimarães, Mister Page’s real name, called musician Dico Mendes to tell him he had a song and that they would record it the following day. Born in Praia Gambôa, the singer says he began his career at a very young age, with João Seria, Sebem and SSP among his influences. He has notably composed « Tarraxinha », « Leidy », « Fim do Ano » and « Meu Sonho », and is working on new musical projects.
