By , based on Corbeau News Centrafrique

Four Central African young men were killed, beheaded and then burned with their motorbikes between Tiringoulou and Délémbé, in Vakaga prefecture. The victims were travelling to Birao from the 5 Kilos mining site, according to Corbeau News Centrafrique, which blamed Russian mercenaries from the Wagner group for the massacre.

Four young Central Africans from the Kara ethnic group were killed, beheaded and then burned with their motorbikes by Russian mercenaries from the Wagner group between Tiringoulou and Délémbé, in Vakaga prefecture. One of them belonged to self-defence militias nicknamed the “Black Wagner”, according to Corbeau News Centrafrique.

The four men, most of them mine workers, were travelling to Birao from the village of 5 Kilos when they were intercepted. Their charred bodies and the remains of their motorbikes were discovered on Wednesday morning by militiamen who had gone looking for them after they disappeared on Monday, according to Corbeau News Centrafrique.

The alleged killing comes as Wagner group activities have intensified in Vakaga, including the abduction of two young men in Ndiffa, reported on 29 October, and the occupation of three schools in Vakaga, reported on 4 November.
