The Malian Armed Forces say they dismantled a logistical base north of Talhandak and neutralised mobile armed groups in Nangola, in the Dioïla region, and west of Djenné. The operations took place from 28 to 30 October as part of Operation Dougoukoloko, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

The Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) dismantled a logistical base north of Talhandak and neutralised columns of motorcycle-borne fighters in Nangola, in the Dioïla region, as well as west of Djenné. The operations were conducted between 28 and 30 October 2026 as part of Operation Dougoukoloko, according to statements from the General Staff of the Armed Forces (EMGA).

The operations covered areas in northern and central Mali, with tracking operations targeting mobile armed groups. The Malian military authorities called on communities to cooperate with the security forces as sweeping and assessment operations continued.

The developments follow the extension of Operation Dougoukoloko to several areas of the country, including strikes against armed groups in three regions announced on 30 October and strikes carried out at Talhandak and Ménaka on 22 October.
