The strikes targeted a position about 50 kilometres south of Ménaka and another near the village of Piron, in the Mopti region.
In the Ségou region, the military said it spotted and then neutralised three men on motorcycles, about two kilometres east of the village of Moutégué. The army said surveillance and reconnaissance operations are continuing in the areas concerned to assess the results and search for any remaining threats.
These operations are part of the campaign to secure the territory being conducted by the FAMa. On 19 October, the army had already announced strikes near Ménaka and Douentza, while two targets were reported at Talhandak and Ménaka on 22 October.
