An attack by unidentified armed men killed one person and left another wounded by gunfire on Thursday 22 October in the village of Danlekanda, in the commune of Muétoumou, Bandiagara cercle, Mali. The injured person was being taken to the Bandiagara referral health centre, reports Studio Tamani.
Residents of Tongolo Coura, in the commune of Kolongo, Mali, are once again moving freely after several years of restrictions imposed by unidentified armed men. According to villagers quoted by Bamada.net, the blockade ended a week ago and dozo hunters had defended the village.

The Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) struck a position identified in the Ouagadou forest, near the village of Ngoma Koura, on 20 October 2026; several fighters were neutralised, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces.
