The Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) say they killed three people described as terrorists in a strike carried out on 29 October in the Niono area. The following day, another strike targeted a gathering between Saré-Nguéou and Néma, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, which says it is continuing assessment and security operations.

The Malian Armed Forces (FAMa) say they killed three suspected fighters in a strike carried out on 29 October in the Niono area, in central Mali. The General Staff of the Armed Forces said the operation followed a reconnaissance mission conducted as part of Operation Dougoukoloko.

A few minutes after this strike, a second attack destroyed a motorbike used by fleeing individuals, according to the General Staff. On 30 October, another strike targeted a group spotted between the localities of Saré-Nguéou and Néma; the army is continuing to monitor the areas to assess the results of these operations.

These operations are part of a series of counter-terrorism actions by the FAMa, following the strikes announced on 30 October in three regions of Mali. The assessment of operations in three regions was notably presented by the Malian army.
