The training targets small businesses and entrepreneurs under an EU-funded regional programme worth €6.2 million, Real Equatorial Guinea reports.
Equatorial Guinea will hold its first National Exportable Services Bootcamp from 2 to 6 November in Malabo, aimed at helping small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurs sell their services on regional and international markets, Real Equatorial Guinea reports. The initiative is led by the National Institute for the Promotion and Development of Enterprises (INPYDE), as part of the ECCAS-Services programme funded by the European Union.
The training will receive technical support from the International Trade Centre, a joint agency of the United Nations and the World Trade Organisation. It will be held over five days using a practical method adapted to the Equatorial Guinean market, with in-person sessions in Malabo and online participation from other cities, including Bata.
The work will focus on three sectors: transport, information and communications technology, and tourism. The regional programme has €6.2 million in funding and covers the 11 countries of Central Africa, according to Real Equatorial Guinea. INPYDE has been designated as the national business-support organisation and the programme’s technical contact in Equatorial Guinea.
