The Conakry Mall shopping centre project, led by Guinean group GUICOPRES, has signed memorandums of understanding with Mercure International of Monaco, ICG-Carrefour, Frasers Group, Hudson Group and Majestic Cinéma. The 55,000 sq m complex aims to open in 2028, according to Visionguinee, with retail, fashion and leisure activities.

Conakry Mall, a shopping centre project by Guinean group GUICOPRES, signed memorandums of understanding over two days with five international brands and groups: Mercure International of Monaco, ICG-Carrefour, Frasers Group, Hudson Group and Majestic Cinéma. The signings took place on 5 and 6 November in Monaco and then Paris, under the chairmanship of Kerfalla Camara KPC, CEO of GUICOPRES.

The agreements provide for the integration of these retail, fashion, sport and leisure operators into the future Conakry Mall and are expected to pave the way for definitive contracts, according to GUICOPRES. The project provides for 55,000 sq m of covered floor space and an opening to the public during 2028.

Further signings are expected shortly in Conakry. GUICOPRES said the project is being developed by its subsidiary Kakandé Immo, with the support of the Guinean government.
