Nigeria’s deputy Senate president, Barau Jibrin, says Bola Tinubu will win the 2027 presidential election. He made the remarks at the launch of campaign committees in Kano State, calling on members of the All Progressives Congress to unite, according to a statement by his spokesperson reported by Punch.

Barau Jibrin, Nigeria’s deputy Senate president and a member of the APC, predicts that President Bola Tinubu will be re-elected in the 2027 presidential election. He spoke in Kano on Sunday at the inauguration of campaign committees in three local government areas, according to a statement by his communications adviser Ismail Mudashir cited by Punch.

The senator called on APC members to unite to secure victory for all the party’s candidates. He said the results of Tinubu’s first term would have a positive impact during a second term and praised Kano Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf for switching from the NNPP to the APC.

His remarks came on the same day as Wike, Soludo and Adeleke backed Tinubu’s re-election and governors from Nigeria’s south-east called for Tinubu to be re-elected.
