Algeria’s output remains set at 1.007 million barrels per day, in line with the decision announced by Algeria’s Ministry of Hydrocarbons after a ministerial coordination meeting.

Algeria and six other OPEC+ members decided to keep their oil production levels unchanged in December at a ministerial meeting held by videoconference on Sunday. Algeria was represented by Mohamed Arkab, Minister of State for Hydrocarbons, according to a statement from Algeria’s Ministry of Hydrocarbons.

Algeria’s production will remain at 1.007 million barrels per day. The meeting also brought together Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Oman and Russia, the seven countries with voluntary production adjustment capacity, according to the ministry.

The participants reviewed the international oil market and its short-term prospects amid global economic and energy uncertainties. They reaffirmed their commitment to closely coordinating decisions and regularly monitoring market developments.

The seven countries’ next ministerial meeting is scheduled for 29 November 2026, according to Algeria’s Ministry of Hydrocarbons.
