Morocco’s General Directorate of Meteorology has issued orange alerts for thunderstorms in several provinces, with a risk of hail and wind gusts. Rainfall totals of 20 to 40 mm are forecast on 2 and 3 November, depending on the province, according to its weather bulletin cited by Yabiladi.

Thunderstorms accompanied by hail and wind gusts are expected on Monday 2 November 2026 in four provinces of Morocco, with rainfall totals of 20 to 30 millimetres between 1pm and 11pm, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology. The orange alert covers Es-Semara, Oued Ed-Dahab, Boujdour and Assa-Zag.

On Tuesday 3 November, rainfall is expected to reach 30 to 40 millimetres between 10am and 11pm in nine provinces: Ouarzazate, Tinghir, Zagora, Al Haouz, Azilal, Errachidia, Midelt, Assa-Zag and Tata, the DGM bulletin says.

The alert follows an orange thunderstorm alert in six Moroccan provinces, published on 30 October, and earlier forecasts of rain and thunderstorms in Morocco, issued on 19 October.
