The French port of Rouen shipped 347,825 tonnes of soft wheat to Morocco between 1 and 28 October 2026, according to the weekly reports of La Coopération Agricole. Shipments were concentrated at the start of the month, with 200,115 tonnes loaded between 1 and 7 October.
Volumes then reached 54,510 tonnes from 8 to 14 October, followed by 60,200 tonnes from 15 to 21 October. The latest report, published on 30 October, recorded 33,000 tonnes loaded from 22 to 28 October.
These purchases resumed in mid-September, after a suspension of about three months starting on 1 June to encourage the sale of the domestic harvest and support Moroccan farmers. Morocco’s soft-wheat production reached about 4.4 million tonnes, more than double the previous season’s output, thanks to the return of rainfall.
