Senegalese investigators are examining the role of the “Panama City” group in the case involving Khadidiatou Kébé, known as “Jessica”, after analysing several phones. The Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor’s office asked the Special Cybersecurity Division to examine devices belonging to people named in the case, according to Libération.

The investigation into Khadidiatou Kébé, known as “Jessica”, has widened to an online group called “Panama City”, cited in a complaint concerning the distribution of an intimate video. The Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor’s office asked the Special Cybersecurity Division to examine several phones, including those belonging to Khadidiatou Kébé, Nafissatou Fall, known as “Neurou”, and Ramatoulaye Diaw, known as “Ramzy Yago”, according to Senegalese daily Libération.

The complainant S. Manga, known as “Anita”, reportedly explained that she met Khadidiatou Kébé on social media before they separated in 2023. She was then reportedly brought into online dating spaces using, among other things, the “Panama City” profile, where she allegedly met a man living in France; an intimate video recorded at his home subsequently circulated on social media, Libération reports.

During questioning, Khadidiatou Kébé reportedly acknowledged temporarily keeping the video on her phone, while saying that she had not paid the TikToker who allegedly distributed it. Investigators are also seeking to verify allegations concerning the obtaining of intimate content through dating groups, followed by possible attempts at blackmail, according to the same newspaper.
