The Senegalese prosecutor’s office has asked the investigating judge to assign the Special Cybercrime Division (DSC) to investigate people who may have helped fund alleged online insults in the Diodio Glow Skin case, the daily Libération reported, as cited by Senenews. The judicial delegation aims to identify possible accomplices of influencer Diarra Thiam, known as Diodio Glow Skin, and Rokhayya Fall, known as Rox La Chancelière.
The two women have been charged and placed under electronic monitoring and judicial supervision. Investigators are examining Rox’s phone, as well as devices seized from Khadidiatou Kébé, known as Jessica, Nafissatou Fall, known as Narou, and Ratatoulaye Diaw, known as Ramz Yago.
The prosecutor’s request follows the referral of Diodio Glow Skin and Rox to an investigating judge, announced on 26 October in the case concerning the alleged funding of online insults. The referral of Rox and Diodio to an investigating judge is the previous stage in the proceedings.
