Kinse Shako Annastasia, a former Nigerian nun, says thieves took money earned from her poultry business. She had kept the proceeds to restart her small business after an illness and described the burglary as her third major loss, in a message published on 4 November, Tuko reports.
Kinse Shako Annastasia, a former Nigerian nun, says thieves stole 200,000 naira, or about 19,000 Kenyan shillings, from her home. The money came from selling chickens raised as part of her small poultry business, according to a testimony published on Facebook and reported by Tuko.
She explained that she had kept the proceeds in her bag after falling ill, as she was unable to immediately reinvest in buying new birds. When she returned from a trip to her shop, she found her door open and the money gone.
Kinse Shako Annastasia described the sum as the capital intended to cover restocking and the continuation of her business. She added that it was her third major loss in a short period, while saying she would not give up on her plans despite the theft. Followers sent her messages of support.
