The Burkina Faso government is organising a collection of contributions to support the reception of Burkinabè returning from Guinea, with dedicated points for vehicles, in-kind donations and financial contributions. The operation is coordinated in Ouagadougou by a management committee, according to the statement signed by Lieutenant-Colonel Passowendé Pélagie Kaboré.

The Burkina Faso government is organising the collection of donations intended to facilitate the return and reception of Burkinabè nationals affected by expulsions from Guinea. In a statement dated 6 November 2026 in Ouagadougou, the Minister of Family and Solidarity called on individuals and organisations wishing to contribute to contact the management committee set up to coordinate the aid.

Contributions may take the form of transport, including coaches and lorries, in-kind donations or money. The government said coaches and lorries are being received at Place de la Révolution, in-kind donations at Hamdalaye racecourse and financial contributions at the central building of the administrative hotel. The Deme Sira platform remains open for cash donations.

The Burkina Faso government said the system is intended to ensure the coordination, transparency and traceability of contributions. The Minister of Family and Solidarity thanked contributors mobilised for this reception operation.

The organisation of the donations comes after the mobilisation of around thirty coaches to repatriate Burkinabè, announced on 4 November. It follows the arrival of more than 8,000 people expelled from Guinea in Kouremalé, reported on 5 November.
