Forty-seven university students took part in the first edition of “Unmute Yo’Self”, a free workshop focused on public speaking and building self-confidence in Accra. Organised on Friday 23 October 2026 at the Accra AI Community Center in the Ridge area, the event was led by the Sincerely Accra Podcast and The Gold Coast Report, MyJoyOnline reports.

Participants, from their first year through to the end of their studies, worked on managing stress and building a presentation around an introduction, a central message, an example and a conclusion. Joseph Nti, the podcast’s host, and Kwame Asante Ofori, its producer, led the sessions on public speaking and the responsible use of social media.

Speaker Nadia Daniel-Wilson urged the students to use artificial intelligence to support their work without abandoning their creativity or judgement. Creative entrepreneurs, including Shaunn Armah, Kabiru Seidu and Seli Dzogbenuku, also presented their careers and ways of turning creative skills into income, according to MyJoyOnline.
