A delegation of seven parliamentarians from the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) assessed implementation of the Project for the Promotion of a Climate-friendly Electricity Market in West Africa (ProCEM II) during a mission held from 25 to 30 October 2026 in Abomey-Calavi, Benin, according to Sierra Loaded.

The mission by the ECOWAS Parliament’s Energy and Mines Committee took place at the headquarters of the West African Power Pool, the organisation responsible for regional electricity cooperation.
