The Ugandan government has signed a 232 billion shilling contract with SAMCO National Construction Company Ltd, an Egyptian company, to build the passenger terminal at Kabalega International Airport in Hoima District. The project must be completed in eight months, according to Uganda’s Ministry of Works and Transport.

The agreement was signed in Kampala by the Minister of State for Transport, Fred Byamukama, and Egypt’s ambassador to Uganda, Sherif Mohamed Abdellattif Elgammal, representing the company.
