Two people, R. Kane and L. Diakité, have been referred to prosecutors for criminal conspiracy, organised international drug trafficking and complicity. Ocrtis seized eight 50-gramme slabs and nine balls of hashish in an operation linked to an alleged network between Casablanca and Dakar, according to Seneweb.
Ocrtis, Senegal’s Central Office for the Suppression of Illicit Drug Trafficking, referred R. Kane and L. Diakité to the Dakar prosecutor’s office for criminal conspiracy, organised international drug trafficking and complicity, according to Seneweb. The two suspects are suspected of being involved in hashish trafficking between Casablanca and Dakar.
The seized drugs included eight 50-gramme slabs of hashish, or 400 grammes, as well as nine balls of the same substance, Seneweb reports. The Ocrtis operation dismantled part of the alleged network operating along this route.
The referral came one day after two suspects were arrested in Dakar in a hashish trafficking case, announced on 4 November 2026.
