Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said on Saturday 7 November in Tarragona that Spain would take orders from no other country, targeting the influence of the international far right three weeks before the 29 November general election. He said Spain should be governed from Spain and cited Washington, Tel Aviv, Buenos Aires and Moscow, according to La Nouvelle Tribune.
Speaking to Socialist activists, Pedro Sánchez presented the international far right as an adversary in his campaign and said his country should not become an “outpost” or a “backyard” of this movement.
