The American rapper Nicki Minaj shared images of the interior of the Boeing 747-8 being temporarily used as Donald Trump’s presidential aircraft, after boarding it during an event with the president. Tuko reports that her video shows a lounge arranged near the windows, with cream-coloured seats and ambient lighting.
The aircraft, donated to the United States by Qatar, entered service in June 2026 and is serving as Air Force One temporarily while Boeing prepares a replacement fleet. The aircraft, which has about 4,000 square feet of interior space, includes areas reserved for the president and his family, White House staff, security teams, the press and medical personnel.
The presidential suite at the front includes a private bedroom, a toilet area, a shower and bathroom facilities. The aircraft reportedly also has a medical office and travels with a White House doctor. The permanent Air Force One replacement programme has been delayed: deliveries are now estimated for between 2027 and 2028, at a cost of about $5 billion, according to Tuko.
