Trump comments on Nicki Minaj’s physique at Michigan rally

Donald Trump commented on rapper Nicki Minaj’s physique at a rally in Michigan, then said he hoped he had not offended her. Minaj spoke in support of the president and urged voters in the state to vote Republican, according to La Nouvelle Tribune.

US President Donald Trump commented on rapper Nicki Minaj’s physique during a rally held on Sunday 25 October in Michigan, United States. He asked her to stand up after referring to her “damn beautiful butt”, before adding that he hoped he had not insulted her. La Nouvelle Tribune reported the remarks, made before Republican supporters.

Nicki Minaj, who had travelled with Donald Trump aboard Air Force One, said she was “very honoured” to work with the US president and called on Michigan voters to vote Republican. She was notably supporting Mike Rogers, a Senate candidate, and John James, a candidate for governor, according to La Nouvelle Tribune.

Long critical of Donald Trump over immigration, the rapper had described herself as his “number one fan” in January 2026, at a US Treasury Department event devoted to “Trump accounts”.
