Morocco showcases tourism at World Travel Market

Morocco’s National Tourist Office is taking part in the World Travel Market in London from 3 to 5 November 2026 with an 850-square-metre pavilion and 47 co-exhibitors. The initiative aims to strengthen Morocco’s presence in the British market, according to an office statement.

The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) is presenting Morocco’s tourism offering at the World Travel Market in London, held from 3 to 5 November 2026. Its 850-square-metre pavilion brings together 47 co-exhibitors, including hotel groups, travel agencies and eight regional tourism boards, according to an ONMT statement.

The Moroccan pavilion was inaugurated on Tuesday in the presence of Morocco’s ambassador to the United Kingdom, Hakim Hajoui, and the ONMT’s director general, Achraf Fayda. Marrakech-Safi and Agadir Souss-Massa are being highlighted as the two main Moroccan destinations for the British market.

Morocco had welcomed 995,663 British tourists by the end of August 2026, up 7% from a year earlier, accounting for nearly 3.4 million overnight stays. Including Irish visitors, the number of arrivals reached 1,065,715, the ONMT said.

Eight airlines currently connect 12 British airports with eight Moroccan destinations. Scheduled capacity for the summer 2026 and winter 2026–2027 seasons stands at 1.97 million seats, an increase of 7%, while the ONMT’s commercial partnerships are targeting 1,355,000 passengers, up 9%.
