Singer Mame Walo accuses Senegalese presenter Mame Coumba of broadcasting clips she had asked to be removed from the programme “Confidence”. Mame Coumba disputes this account and says she deleted several passages; she says Mame Walo spoke of her own accord about being raped at the age of 13, according to Senego.

Senegalese presenter Mame Coumba and her guest Mame Walo are at odds over the broadcast of sequences considered embarrassing in the programme “Confidence”. Mame Walo says she asked for the clips to be removed before recording, but accuses the presenter of not removing them, according to statements reported by Senego.

Visibly upset, Mame Walo particularly reproached Mame Coumba for broadcasting her account of a rape she says she suffered at the age of 13. The presenter disputes this version: she says she removed several sequences at her guest’s request and maintains that Mame Walo spoke about the rape of her own accord and with her consent, Senego reports.
