Ghanaian Christian collective Unreligious Servants launched its first album, First Service, for its fourth anniversary, MyJoyOnline reports. The group also donated supplies to the Chosen Rehabilitation Centre, a rehabilitation centre it had supported during its first charitable initiative.
The collective’s deputy director, Kwesi Brenya Baah, said members’ intellectual property rights had been transferred to the group and that proceeds from its projects, including the album, would be entirely devoted to charitable activities. Created four years ago by professionals in music, photography and design, the collective aims to promote the Christian message through service and practical assistance, he explained.
The donations to the centre included rice, beans, gari, oils, pasta and toilet paper. According to Kwesi Brenya Baah, the facility accommodates around 120 to 130 people and offers vocational training, a recording studio and a computer laboratory to help with their reintegration.
