Ghana’s Interior Minister and Asawase MP, Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak, has launched the 3M Foundation to make his humanitarian assistance to vulnerable people sustainable. The organisation aims to support healthcare, education and livelihoods beyond his parliamentary career, reports 3news.

Ghana’s Interior Minister and Asawase MP, Alhaji Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak, has launched the 3M Foundation to extend and expand his humanitarian assistance beyond his parliamentary career, according to 3news. The foundation will prioritise healthcare, education and improving the livelihoods of vulnerable people.

In 2025, the programme covered 33 electoral areas in eight constituencies in the Kumasi metropolitan area. It funded 225 cataract operations, 77 mammograms, five breast cancer operations and screening for more than 11,000 people, said the foundation’s president, Dr Kamil Mohammed, quoted by 3news.

The organisation is also expected to mobilise resources and attract development partners to reduce the dependence of these initiatives on Muntaka Mubarak’s personal funds and political mandate. School scholarships and support for income-generating activities are also among its areas of intervention.
