Orlando Pirates beat Milford 3-0 to reach the Carling Knockout quarter-finals, with Tshepang Moremi scoring twice. Coach Abdeslam Ouaddou nevertheless said his team had not been clinical enough after creating 24 chances, ahead of the derby against Kaizer Chiefs, according to TimesLIVE.

Orlando Pirates qualified for the Carling Knockout quarter-finals by beating Milford 3-0 at Orlando Amstel Arena on Tuesday, but coach Abdeslam Ouaddou said his team had not been clinical enough, according to TimesLIVE. Tshepang Moremi scored twice and Thapelo Mokobodi added another in the first half.

The Buccaneers created 24 chances and, in the view of their Moroccan coach, should have scored more goals before their Soweto derby against Kaizer Chiefs at FNB Stadium on Saturday. Ouaddou urged his players to be more incisive and their substitutes to seize the opportunities they are given.

Orlando Pirates, who are seeking to retain their title in the competition, had already beaten African Stars 5-0 in the Champions League on 23 October. That victory came after Mamelodi Sundowns beat Pirates in the MTN8 final on 10 October, as the club’s recent Champions League campaign recalls.
