The Egyptian Red Crescent has sent more than 280 lorries of flour and food supplies to Gaza, including a convoy carrying 3,676 tonnes of humanitarian aid. The deliveries are intended to support bakeries and essential services, according to the Egyptian Red Crescent.

The Egyptian Red Crescent has delivered more than 280 lorries of flour and food supplies to Gaza to address the bread shortage, the organisation announced. More than 190 lorries were sent the previous week and more than 90 others on Sunday. The consignments are to be handed over to the Egyptian Committee for Relief in Gaza, which will distribute them to bakeries whose operations have been disrupted.

The convoy that left on Sunday was carrying more than 3,676 tonnes of humanitarian aid, including flour, food parcels, relief items, medicines and fuel for hospitals, bakeries and other essential infrastructure. It was the 302nd convoy sent by Egypt since the Egyptian Red Crescent’s humanitarian initiative for Gaza was launched in late July 2025.

Gaza’s health authorities reported four new deaths and 14 injuries over 24 hours on Sunday. The death toll since the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas took effect in October 2025 has reached 1,551, with 5,573 injured, while the conflict that began on 7 October 2023 has killed 74,544 Palestinians and injured 175,692, according to the authorities.
