WHO still investigating source of Ebola infection in Nigeria

Switzerland says the Ebola patient in Nigeria is the wife of a Swiss diplomat and may have contracted the virus during a stay in Uganda. The WHO says the origin of the infection remains uncertain as investigators retrace her movements, according to Swiss authorities and the WHO.

Patrick Otim, the WHO’s emergency response lead, said investigators were still reconstructing the movements of the patient. Interviews had been limited by her hospitalisation, he said, according to BusinessDay.
