The draft 2027 finance bill for the Republic of the Congo provides 670 billion CFA francs for investment spending. Presented to Parliament on 29 October, the bill allocates the funds to public works and social projects, according to Brazza-Infos.
The allocation is intended to support the recovery and consolidation of national infrastructure, in a context where growth depends in particular on the effective implementation of projects financed by public funds, Brazza-Infos reports.
The presentation of the draft followed the Congolese government’s approval, on 8 October, of an overall budget of 3,120.8 billion CFA francs for 2027. This budgetary step was reported in the Congolese government’s approval of the 2027 budget.
