Congolese President Denis Sassou-N’Guesso has asked African states to support the Republic of the Congo’s bid for a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council for the 2030-2031 period. “I hereby ask for your states’ valuable and decisive support,” he said at the Russia-Africa summit in Moscow, according to Les Echos du Congo-Brazzaville.
