RC Lens were 3-0 down to Como at half-time on Wednesday 4 November at the Bollaert-Delelis stadium, during the fourth matchday of the Champions League, Bénin Web TV reports. Anastasios Douvikas scored twice for the Italian club, before Nico Paz added a third.

Douvikas took his tally to five goals in this edition of the Champions League and was top of the scoring charts on his own at half-time, according to Bénin Web TV. Lens had suffered two successive European defeats against Sporting CP and Club Brugge, after beginning the competition with a win over Slavia Prague.

Como had also won their two previous matches, against Manchester United and Leipzig, by the same 4-1 scoreline. After scoring, Nico Paz held up a shirt in tribute to Jesús de Miguel, the Tenerife striker who died this week and was a former youth-team player at the Spanish club.
