Judicial columnist Pape Ndiaye says Modou Ba, brother of dancer Aziz Dabala, allegedly answered the same questions as the suspected killer in the investigation into the dancer’s death. He said he plans to return to these issues, according to SeneNews, renewing attention around the judicial case.

Senegalese judicial columnist Pape Ndiaye Walf says Modou Ba, brother of dancer Aziz Dabala, answered the same questions as those put to the main suspect in the murder of the latter. He made the statement about the investigation into the dancer’s death, SeneNews reports.

Pape Ndiaye said he intended to return to these issues later. “I do not want to interfere with the investigation, but this is serious,” he said. His remarks draw a parallel between Modou Ba’s questioning and that of the person suspected of murdering Aziz Dabala, without the columnist revealing the questions concerned.

The remarks come amid questions surrounding Modou Ba and his possible involvement in investigations into his brother’s death. Pape Ndiaye’s statements are the columnist’s claims and, on their own, do not establish responsibility for the murder.
