Tunisia condemned the raids and arrests carried out on 25 October 2026 by Israeli forces in Ramallah and Al-Bireh, in the occupied West Bank. In a statement published on Wednesday 28 October, Tunisia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced a new stage in the war being waged against the Palestinian people.

Tunisia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the operations sought to extend from Gaza to all occupied Palestinian territories the military operations, settlement activity and crimes attributed to Israel. Tunis called on the international community to act to secure the immediate cessation of these operations and reaffirmed its support for the Palestinians’ right to self-determination and the establishment of an independent state, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
