Russia has struck power stations in Ukraine’s Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions, according to Reuters. The bombings are part of a new series of attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure as the war continues on several fronts.
Russia launched overnight strikes against Ukraine, according to Ukrainian authorities. The attacks resumed after a local ceasefire ended and reignited fighting in a war approaching its fifth year, France 24 Afrique reports.

The Ukrainian army says more than 6,600 Russian soldiers were killed or wounded in three days, while Ukrainian drones targeted oil facilities in Russia for five consecutive nights.
