Aston Villa and Fulham drew in the Premier League after goalkeeper Zion Suzuki made an error and let the ball into his own net from an Alex Iwobi corner. Nicolas Jackson had opened the scoring for Villa in the 39th minute, while John McGinn missed a penalty, according to the BBC’s match report.

Fulham earned a draw away to Aston Villa in the Premier League after an own goal by the home side’s goalkeeper, Zion Suzuki, the Ghanaian Chronicle reports, citing the BBC. Suzuki let Alex Iwobi’s corner slip over the line in the second half, allowing Fulham to equalise.

Nicolas Jackson had opened the scoring for Aston Villa in the 39th minute, from a pass by Johan Manzambi. Villa had also missed a first-half penalty: captain John McGinn’s shot hit the crossbar after a handball by Sander Berge, which was flagged to the referee by the video assistant referee, according to the BBC.

Before the equaliser, Suzuki had made saves against Oscar Bobb and Gonzalo Garcia. Jackson scored his sixth goal in all competitions in October, more than any other player in the English top flight during that period, the BBC says.
