Moroccan start-up YouCan has launched Mochi, an artificial intelligence agent that allows merchants to create and manage online shops using written or voice instructions. Moroccan start-up YouCan, which specialises in e-commerce, will make its artificial intelligence agent Mochi available to the general public in early November 2026. The tool, tested since early October among an initial community of merchants, is already being used by nearly 4,000 shops, according to YouCan.

Accessible in writing or by voice command, Mochi can set up an online shop, create landing pages, write product descriptions and generate visuals from instructions given by the user. It can also launch promotions, create discount coupons and analyse sales performance.

Zouhir Bahij, chief executive and co-founder of YouCan, says artificial intelligence should make e-commerce tools even simpler and make entrepreneurship accessible to more people. The platform already offers shop creation, payment, order confirmation, delivery and order fulfilment services.
