Musiliu Akinsanya, head of Nigeria’s road transport workers’ union, says his US citizenship allows him to enter and stay in the United States freely. Speaking at a rally supporting Bola Tinubu’s re-election, he also said he was taking English lessons to improve his speech, reports Tribune Online.

Musiliu Akinsanya, known as MC Oluomo, president of Nigeria’s National Union of Road Transport Workers, said his US citizenship allowed him to enter and stay in the United States without any time limit. He was speaking at a rally organised to support the re-election of Nigerian President Bola Tinubu, according to Tribune Online.

MC Oluomo said a US immigration officer could not ask him how many weeks he planned to stay in the country, because he considers the United States his home. He also announced that he was taking English lessons to improve his spoken English.

The union official compared his difficulties with English to those of Nollywood actor and dating content creator Adams Kehinde, known as Lege Miami. The rally was part of the campaign supporting Bola Tinubu’s re-election.
