More than 4,000 runners took part in the Diamonds and Dorings Kimberley Big Hole Marathon, held in South Africa’s Northern Cape province, SABC reported. The winners of the 2025 edition, South African Bennet Seloyi in the men’s race and Kenyan Fridah Ndinda in the women’s race, retained their titles.
Fridah Ndinda described the race as easier than the previous year’s, notably because of the flat route. The event, launched in 2025, took place on Sunday in Kimberley, a city known for its Big Hole mining site, according to SABC.
