Drones attributed to the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) struck power stations in four Sudanese states on Monday 26 October, causing power cuts, Sudan Tribune reports. The targeted facilities are in the states of Al-Jazirah, Sennar, Al-Qadarif and White Nile.

At Al-Junayd in Al-Jazirah state, a strike on the electricity substation put it out of service at around 2.30am, according to sources at the Al-Junayd sugar factory cited by Sudan Tribune. In Sennar state, the local government said an attack on the Sennar substation caused material damage and injured members of the security team, who were taken for treatment.

Drones also targeted the Al-Fao and Al-Hawata power stations in Al-Qadarif state, according to a security source cited by the outlet. In White Nile state, a strike on the Mashkour power station left the area without electricity, according to local sources.

The RSF also attempted to strike strategic fuel depots at Oum Al-Oula, in eastern Al-Jazirah, without causing casualties. The site had already been attacked by drones in September, when a strike caused a fire at one of the depots.

The attacks add to strikes reported on 26 October against two power stations in eastern Sudan.
