Driss Lachguar, First Secretary of the Socialist Union of Popular Forces (USFP), brought together the leaders of the Ittihadi Women’s Organisation and Ittihadi Youth on Thursday 5 November in Rabat to examine the political situation and the party’s upcoming electoral deadlines, according to Libération Maroc. The National Bureau of Ittihadi Youth announced the launch of outreach and training programmes in the Kingdom’s various branches ahead of the next elections and the tenth national youth congress. Preparations for the session of the National Council of Ittihadi Youth, scheduled for the coming days, have also begun, according to the statement issued after the meeting.
