The Court of Accounts and Budgetary Discipline of Congo-Brazzaville considers that the government executed the 2025 state budget under good conditions. Its rapporteur, Emmanuel Kamba, presented this assessment to the National Assembly’s finance committee, which is to examine the 2027 budget before the 2025 budget settlement law is put to a vote, Vox reports.
The Court of Accounts and Budgetary Discipline of Congo-Brazzaville has judged the execution of the 2025 state budget to be positive, its rapporteur, Emmanuel Kamba, said after a hearing at the National Assembly on 26 October in Brazzaville, according to Vox.
Kamba met the Committee on Economy, Finance and Budget Execution Oversight, led by its chair, Maurice Mavoungou. The court provides technical support to the committee in its oversight of public finances.
During the budget session, MPs are due to examine the draft 2027 state budget. Before voting on it, they must adopt the 2025 budget settlement law, which accounts for how the funds allocated to the government were used.
