The Salary Monitoring Committee announced a delay in paying October salaries to Congolese civil servants because the liquidation statement for the fourth quarter of 2026 is being finalised. The timetable could be pushed back until the first half of November, according to Lepotentiel, which called on employees to follow official channels.

The payment of October salaries to Congolese state employees and civil servants has been delayed and could continue until the first half of November. The Salary Monitoring Committee (CSP) attributed the delay to the finalisation of the liquidation statement for the fourth quarter of the 2026 financial year, in a statement made public on Saturday.

The CSP asked beneficiaries to wait until the funds are effectively credited to their accounts and to rely solely on official communications to follow the operations. It said it was continuing to process payments in accordance with government instructions and the guidance of the supervisory authorities, Le Potentiel reports.

The delay comes as the public service salary timetable undergoes another adjustment. The announced payment is to cover all state employees and civil servants, according to the Salary Monitoring Committee.
