Residents of the Ngoyo Zéphyrin neighbourhood in the 6th arrondissement of Pointe-Noire have been without drinking water for two months. La Congolaise des Eaux (LCDE), the company responsible for water distribution, attributes the shortage to technical difficulties and power cuts, Lesechos Congobrazza reports.
The interruption is making hygiene, cooking and laundry difficult for the households concerned, while residents are calling for technical intervention, a lasting improvement in supply and the rapid restoration of water, according to Lesechos Congobrazza.
