Senegalese promoter Aziz Ndiaye has asked Sa Thiès to honour his contractual commitments and improve his conduct after missing the face-to-face meeting with Siteu in Paris. He cited former King of the Arena Modou Lô, whose image, he said, continues to attract partnerships after his reign, Seneweb reports.

Senegalese promoter Aziz Ndiaye has asked wrestler Sa Thiès to honour his contractual commitments after missing the face-to-face meeting with Siteu in Paris. Speaking during a live broadcast with former wrestler Bombardier, he also recalled that being King of the Arena entails, beyond sporting performance, exemplary conduct and respect for promoters, according to Seneweb.

Aziz Ndiaye cited former King of the Arena Modou Lô, who, he said, continues to secure partnership and sponsorship contracts after the end of his reign thanks to his image and conduct. He advised Sa Thiès to read his contracts carefully in order to fulfil his obligations, while stressing that the comment was not a personal attack, Seneweb reports.

The promoter’s position comes after Sa Thiès’s absence in Paris, which had already exposed the wrestler to threats of sanctions. The face-to-face meeting with Siteu was intended to prepare for their bout scheduled for 3 January 2027, but the meeting fell through on 19 October in Paris, according to previous reports by Seneweb.
