Defending champions Senegal will face Mozambique, Ghana and Uganda in Group A of the 2026 edition of the Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations. The draw was held on Wednesday 4 November in Cairo, according to the Council of Southern African Football Associations (COSAFA).

Group B will bring together Mauritania, Morocco, Malawi and Angola. The finals will be held in Senegal from 28 November to 6 December with eight teams. The two finalists will also qualify for the 2027 Beach Soccer World Cup.

Senegal are seeking a sixth consecutive title after winning the last five editions, including the 2021 final against Mozambique, which they won 4-1. Mozambique are the only team from the COSAFA region to have reached a final of the competition. Malawi will take part for the third consecutive time, while Angola will play in the finals for the first time after eliminating Egypt in qualifying.

The top two teams in each group will advance to the semi-finals. Malawi coach Willy Kumilambe called the draw balanced, while stressing that the eight participating teams are among the best on the continent.
